Nick Kerley is a CeMAP-qualified Senior Finance Broker based in Clifton Private Finance’s Cardiff office. He joined the company through its graduate scheme in 2022 and has since developed broad experience across bridging and property development finance.

Nick works with homeowners, property investors, and developers on a varied range of funding requirements. He assesses each client’s circumstances and works across the bridging market to identify an appropriate structure and lender.

His experience includes finance for property purchases, land acquisitions, refurbishment and development projects, self-build completions, and other time-sensitive transactions. He supports clients throughout the process, from understanding their initial objectives and researching the market to coordinating with lenders and professional parties through to completion.

Before joining Clifton, Nick completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in accounting, finance, and investment at the University of South Wales. This academic foundation, combined with his practical experience of specialist property lending, helps him evaluate funding options and explain them clearly to clients.

Nick places particular importance on keeping clients informed and ensuring they understand each stage of the bridging process. His customer-service background has shaped a responsive and approachable style of working.

Outside work, Nick is a former international water polo player and an Arsenal supporter. He also enjoys travelling, music and attending concerts and gigs.
